What is POPS?

The mission of St. David’s Parents of Preschoolers is to support the vision of the school by promoting the involvement of parents.  Research has demonstrated that there is a direct correlation between parent involvement and student success.   Therefore, POPS will encourage communication, provide information, foster cooperation, organize activities, promote fellowship, and support positive activities on behalf of a Christian education. 

Throughout the year we will offer programs, parent seminars, social/fellowship events, fundraisers and much more.  All funds raised go straight back into the preschool to provide scholarships, special programming, improvements to the grounds, and more.  Be sure to keep an eye out for news from us in your child’s folder!

Get Involved

POPS is open to all St. David’s School parents; there are many ways to get involved.  Here are just some examples:

  • Attend meetings which are held in the preschool on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm on the following dates: October 8, November 12, February 11, March 10, April 14 (to see minutes from meetings, click on the meeting date)

  • Become a room parent for your child’s class

  • Volunteer to chair/co-chair or help with activities & fundraisers

  • Help out in your child’s classroom

  • Come out and have fun at planned activities

  • Get involved with our Annual End of Year Celebration and Silent Auction

  • Support our preschool’s Outreach efforts

  • MAKE LIFE-LONG friendships

Link your Harris Teeter card

The Harris Teeter Together In Education  program is a fundraising program for schools in our communities.  The VIC card linking/sign- up process must take place each school year; school selection(s) remain active until May 31.  This is a great opportunity for St. David’s to earn “free” money from the groceries you purchase each week.  You can help us by linking your VIC card online via the Harris Teeter website, or you can simply provide us with your name and phone number and we will take care of the rest!  We will have sign-up sheets available or you can email us at
